Danica is the Chief Growth Officer at Sage Mountain, where she leads the firm’s growth strategy, including advisor recruiting, business development, and the capabilities that support its continued expansion. Throughout her career, she has focused on building businesses, developing high-performing teams, and helping organizations translate strategy into sustainable growth.
Danica spent over a decade at Goldman Sachs in Private Wealth Management, where she helped build the firm’s first all-women-led private wealth advisory practice in the Southeast, advising families and institutions on complex investment and wealth planning needs.
She later spent seven years at PNC, most recently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Risk & Change Officer, where she led a 650+ person organization spanning governance, risk, compliance, financial crimes, and enterprise transformation. During her time at PNC, she also helped establish the firm’s national Financial Sponsors coverage platform, partnering with private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
Danica holds an MBA with Honors from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA with Honors from Harvard College. She is also a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
Danica has a longstanding commitment to nonprofit and community leadership. She recently completed her service on the Board of Trustees of The Children’s Institute, where she chaired the Governance Committee and served as Board Secretary, and has held numerous other board and committee roles, including with the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy and the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business.
Danica lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with her husband and their two teenage children.
